wreck in alpha

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

wreck in alpha

is there really a wreck in omicron alpha at the unknown jumphole. I went there and checked from 1m to 7k in every direction and saw nothing but kept getting molested by the nomads.

Yes,
There are several wrecks around the Unkown Jumphople in Omnicrom Alpha. Everyone of the red "X"`s are ships that are wrecked.

The HeatherDown of the Criminal factions.

Also, you might find it helpful when you're in an area in which you suspect there's something to find, to change your targeting list mode (the display in the lower left of your HUD) to "all" or "solar", etc., and scrutinize the items on the list, paying attention to their icons and the distances from you. Using the zoom finction on your map display for the area around you--or the area where you suspect there's something to find--is also useful.

My experience indicates that those red "x"s appear only either after you've bought info about them or have come physically fairly close.

As has been said (quite a few times) elsewhere, using the patrol filter on the map and visiting the intersections and/or convergence points can be instructive (and prfitable), too.

Happy looting!
