Misc. high level questions

I'm now a L37, Sabre with 3 Nomad cannons and lvl 10 shields. I'm friendly or neutral with most of the criminal factions and hated by the Bretonia Police (one little artifact run and look what happens).

1. I've been to every base that supposedly sells the Titan (I'm on Crete now) or Eagle and they're just not available. Do I have to be lvl 38?
2. How do I get on the good side of the robots and monkeys? There's a message saying that I need to be friendlier though I know they don't offer missions. I get the wrench symbol when I land but nothing happens. Is there something they' want?
3. Is there a better shield than the Brigantine HF?

You are certainly high enough to buy the Titan, If you are on Crete then they should be selling it. The ship dealers will show you the ships for sale, they just tell you when you are to llow of a level. Try going to your map and checking out the planet itself, see if it shows purchaseable ships on crete. If not you might be bugged.

The Cl10 positron shield is the only cl10 shield avail for purchase (non-moded)

Yeah you should be able to buy the Titan now. If not, something is messed up.

I heard someone say that the robots fixed their ship for them, but I have never seen this happen. I don't know if it's possible or not. And I'm pretty sure there is no way to get friendlier with them.

There is only one level 10 shield that we can use in the game; the positron one. There is code for other level 10 shields but it is not for sale anywhere and we can't loot it.

Thanks people.

I made L38 and still Crete refuses to sell me a Titan. Using the question mark I found they are supposed to sell Titans. Have I been killing BHs for nothing?

I'll check the ship list and see somewhere else that sells them and try there.

Maybe you need to raise your faction with the Corsairs before they will sell the Titan to you? If so go the bar and check with the bartender. If he isn't offering a faction raise (130,000) for the Corsairs just reload and ask him again - repeat until he offers to raise your faction.
