Mission 11 - Kicking my a**

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Mission 11 - Kicking my a**

What is the best way to take out the exp. sattelite, and yet keep enough supplies on hand for the battle of the jumpgate (and whatever else lies beyond)? I am obviously missing something, I had no probs with any of the earlier missions that wasnt solved in 2-3 tries, I have tried this mission at least 25 times, and always end up dying at the jump gate.

What ship are you flying in? Humpback? You deserve to die if you do...

Obviously you should have got the anubis by now. Fit it with the 8.33 fire rate weapons (because you'll be doing dog fighting) Chuck out any missiles, and put the best mines you can get.

On the approach to the sattellite, a group of fighters will appear. Stay away, let the NPC take care of it and take the brunt of their shots. From here onwards you can choose to directly assault the sattelite, or finish up the fighters first, then the weapons platforms..

Also, get a proper shield againts rheinland fighters.

the satellite? um . . . i didn't really bother about the shield thingy. . . and if you do have the anubis, *i forgot when you get them* load if up with a torp launcher. u'll be glad to have a full load, then have some heavy duty weapons, medium refire rate (4 - 5.33) and decent damage ones. . . (40-70-120) just to ensure ur weapons energy dun run out. take out a couple of the fighters to reduce firepower of them, then move onto the weapons platforms. by the time your done with them, NPC's will have taken out remaining fighters and taken out a good bit of the satellite. then move in with torps to clean the job.

presently, my world is upside down, so if u do not mind, u'll have to tok to my a$$

hmm...load up with the BEST stuff you can afford, namely everything (i hope)

torpedoes definitely help loads

and another tip is to conserve your shield batts and nano bots coz there is no refil on that mission

I got past this mission (harder than 12 or 13 in my opinion) by using the cluck cluck strategy... I didnt't fire a shot until all the other fighters were taken down by the others. Since this is a story driven game, key characters are not going to die randomly, so doing a big circle with the cruise engines on for 10 mins did the trick. In fact, the only shots on the entire mission I fired were the torpedos I launched at the satellite.

I hate solving problems that way, but I am finding that it is occasionally necessary in this game, thanks for the suggestions!

Used all my shield batts during the fight with the satellite and my hull was about 25% by the time I left Alaska...I was relieved to the point of laughing out loud when the Osiris showed up at the end.

The torps do help. I popped off a pair while firing guns and then turboed my arse off until I was lined up again.

Whoever thought a bunch of frickin liberty patriots could be so deadly?

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless

Officer: "Freelancer, what happened to the transport you were escorting?"
Me: "He told me my ship looked wierd...I invited him to have intimate relations with my SunSlayer"
