Do anyone know of any FL cheats? I saw a post where someone was talking about using 'God Mode'.

Does anyone know this cheat or any others?

In winxp
goto mydocuments/freelancer/perfoptions or perfdata.ini (find this file and open with notepad or word)
open find "DIFFICULTY SCALE 1.0" and change the 1.0 value to 0.0
this will give you god mode but will totally take the fun out of the single player game b/c the game is very easy in SP mode. None of the missions should take more than 2 tries at the most, if they do then you simply need to upgrade your weapons/shields etc.

There are..... their just not... typed in cheats.

God Mode is all you need if you WANT to cheat.

Then again if you wanna be a man, you CAN just buck up and play.

This game is ridiculously easy to do trading in.
And as long as you take time to master the controls, dogfights should be no problem (Always get the best ship that the game allows youto buy).

Still, God mode is useful for exploring.

Hmmmmm well tehn here's a question.. if setting that there do-hicky to 0.0 is godmode... could you logically then set it to 2.0 and get a harder game?

As everyone said, the SP mode is bit easy.

You wanna cheat? Just open the scripts and change whatever you want: Free ships, free weapons, free women... err... maybe not.

By the way, I don't know about you Americans, but in Canada, "Their" is the possesive form of "they" while "They're" is the contraction of "They are". Please at least *try* to distinguish the two?

Also of note, "there" means at that place . Tsk tsk tsk...

:\ I beat this game without failing any of the missions even once, its that easy...

I am not saying i didnt get my bum kicked a few times, but I never had to reload a saved game during a mission.

I did die a few times *waves fist at the Neutron Star*

the game is easy enough without cheats, why would you want one anyway?

as for your language and attitude , you need a change, or else you wont find people willing to reply to your posts

If you change that value and play a mission (a particularly difficult one), and then save it, finally change it back to the original value, will that mess anything up? (Other than my ego that is...)
