Rogues...in the wrong system?

Dang... when they want your cargo, they get persistent with a vengeance...I was making a light arms run (from Detroit to the GC base in Hokkaido) in my Dromedary, and had just reached Kusari space after a short passage through the Galileo system. So I kick back, grab a trade lane, and go to get a coke since nothing in Kusari hates me.

About a minute later, I come back to find myself knocked out of the trade lane and being shot at...by rogues in wolfhounds? What the heck are those guys doing in Kusari space? Well, there they were, pecking at me with some kind of gun that was doing a pretty fair amount of shield damage.

The obvious end of the story is that I blew the little suckers out of space and tractored in their loot, but that still doesn't explain what they were doing there in the first place. Anyway, they don't have a base in Kusari and never jump from system to system.

Most puzzling. Is there any way, other than a game bug, that Liberty Rogues could somehow end up in the territory of another house?

That's a strange one. I usually do the same thing as you: in Kusari I just relax cuz I think I'm safe; go to the bathroom, grab something from the fridge, ya know? If others are gonna start showing up there I may need to keep a closer eye on it. But in response to your quandary, I have no idea what they were doing there. What's next? Molly's in Omicron ß?

There is Rogue base in Galileo so naturally you would see Rogues come through the Galileo jump hole into Kusari space.

I think I've seen Liberty Rogues in... Magellan or Cortez, even though they aren't "officially" listed in the system.

rogues seem to chase me all over the place. . . saw them in a rheinland mining area . . . maybe it was the unions, but rogues seem to be all over da place, considering they r unorganized, i dunno how they do it. . . but ur story seems interesting. . . can u gimme more info on ur trade run ?

It's a circuit I've been doing. Goes like this:

Light arms @ Detroit muntions -> Golden C. Hokkaido base(forgot name)

H-Fuel @ GC Hokkaido -> Planet Cambridge

Lux. Food @ Planet Cambridge -> Planet Manhattan

Makes several Hundred thousand per run. Can get a bit hairy in the Border worlds, though, if a lot of outcasts or hackers show up.

Just for variety, I was doing diamond runs from Hamburg to New Tokyo, and that's a pretty nice income too.

Rogues are in the Kusari system Shi***u. It's right next to their haunts in the Independent World Systems. The Kusari people will even tell you they have problems with the Liberty criminals.
