i think it's easier to fight the Nomads in the unknown system from Omicron Gamma cuz there's no radiation plus if you're hull gets too damaged and you're out of nanobots you can cruise out of battle and go to either the monkey planet or the robot planet and get repaired.. too bad you can't buy anything from either one though..

I've never noticed anything over 4, with Nomads......

But I HAVE gotten into a nasty furball with 12 unioners...then 4 LWB jumped in, and then another 4 Red Hessians jumped in....I was quite outnumbered.

I believe it is also level related.

I am at Lvl 38 in MP...I got my Titan tore up in that one...I actually had to retreat....Got half of them before I retreated.

you cant repair at the monkey/robot planets i dont think. but i know for sure that you cant repair at the robo planet, i tried

I've gotton nomad weapons at lvl 31 before.

took out about 12 waves to get four, but I got them.

To phyurball: If you scan a Nomad Interceptor and a Nomad Fighter, you'll see the difference.

...Just to save you some time, the Interceptors do not have Blasters/Cannons, only Nomad Lasers which are too different from anything else to be useful.
That must be the reason they NEVER DROP ANYTHING!

ps: I was only attacked by INTERCEPTORS before lvl 30(or 31) so I'm guessing the same happened to the rest of you impatient pilots...
