Trafalgar Base and Legionnaires vs. Crusaders
Just reached Bretonia for the first time, and I'm shopping around for a new ship to get the bounty hunters off my case. It seems like my two best options are the Legionnaire LF and the Crusader HF. Their stats seem more or less the same, and although the Legionnaire LOOKS much cooler (the Crusader looks looks stupid) I'm not sure which to go with. I'm assuming the Legionnaire is also faster and more maneuverable to counter the two extra gun ports on the Crusader. My question is: which would most of you folks recommend? They both cost about 35k, which will completely clean me out, so I'm thinking I'll have whichever I choose for a long time and I want to make sure I'm going to like the ship I end up with.
Two: Apparently Legionnaires are sold at Trafalgar Base, New London. I have very little of the Bretonia system mapped out, so my question is where IS Trafalgar base? I'd like to be able to get there in as few stops as possible, given that about 6 bounty hunter ships appear out of nowhere every time I exit a base/trade lane/planet/jump gate. Is it in one of the two asteroid fields in the New London area?

spending more money than the cost of the ship, and C) dodging Bounty Hunters for another few days while I find a guy to bribe and get the money together, I'm just going to go with the dorky-looking Crusader. Thanks though!
