NOMAD SHIPS - You can''t get them without cheating right?

Here is a brief explanation I read from someone who claimed to have legally bought a nomad ship from "the nomad sector":

"you may purchase nomad weaponry and crafts from the Nomad Sector.

If you view your map you will see Sirius Sector at bottom left, there is also Nomad Sector and apparantly another one.

The nomad sector is rather small, only 7 smaller sectors in it but I will give you a clue how to find it.

It is in one of the uknown systems, you need to travel for 212K in a certain direction from the jumpwhole which will lead you to another jumpwhole reading "uknown". This uknown one will then take you to the nomad sector which has another 7 sectors inside it, instead of the view of the sirius universe the map is just a big blue background with small waypoints in it.

Since your radar will only detect it from 600M away it will take you along time to find it as you need to search all 360 degree angles, once you search all 720 ways going 212K each you will eventually come across if you always look at your radar.

I hope this clears up how I recieved this ship, just on a side note you can't use any cheats as they crash the server."

It all sounds like bs to me, would like to hear your opinions....

Just pick up some Level10 Nomad weapons from that weird sector with the robots and monkeys (the Nomads you kill drop em), and put em on your very heavy Sabre or Titan.

lol I figured he was full of it....

now people have even posted screenshots of him flying this thing, and he STILL maintains he isn't cheating.

he has MILLIONS of credits, his nomad ship has over a million nanobots, and yet he is trying to convince us that he still got all of this legally....

I gave up on the Sabre and Titan, they maneuver like a boat. The Eagle can easily fly rings around them, and speed *is* armor, the more you can maneuver the harder you are to hit.

Anyway, the Nomad fighter really ain't worth it. You can mount shields on it but they don't seem to block weapons fire, only collisions which makes them useless. Besides, you can't dock with them on a server unless you have access to one of the .ini files, so you just go around listening to every station and planet saying "Sorry, we are unable to service ships of your size." I'll just stick with my Eagle thank you
