Help!

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Help!

OK, I just escaped to Bretonia, and I just left Leeds. I'm Level 7, and I'm getting chewed up by the Mollys. Is it because I'm still using a Liberty vessel? Also, is there a way to not get hit by Cruise Interruptor missiles? I can complete objective, but before I get back to the base to complete the mission, I get hit by Cruise Interruptors, and get destroyed. ANy help would be nice.

yes, you can avoid cruise disruptors. Very annoying i must say... But anyways, get countermeasures, and when you see the missile warning, afterburn crazy ways, and drop a load of cm's. Its not guaranteed to work, but it will help occasionally. Also, if you launch a cm right as the missile is about to hit you, it may hit the cm but still take you out of cruise mode. Those missiles have a blast radius, so fly in crazy directions.

Even though Tobias tells you to get a new ship it doesn't make a difference with factions that don't like you. The only way to make it in Bretonia is to stay away from combat until you can afford a ship and guns that can keep up with those enemies.

There are two options to escape cruise disrupters:

The first one is to eject countermeasures as fast as possible. Advanced Countermeasures are suited best for this task.

The second way to escape is by exploiting a little bug in the AI of the enemies: kill your engine (default key Z), accelerate to 200 kps with your afterburner and turn around so that you face backwards. The foes think now that you are flying into the opposite direction than you actually do and disappear fast.
