best freighter ever.

after going back and loading up the last mission and completing the SP game for a second time, i noticed a ship purchaseable in liberty. the greatest freighter known to man, the Osirus. true, it turns like pudding, but it holds 1100 units of cargo. the weapons are pretty nifty, they come with the ship. no shields, no afterburners, just massive hull strength. but hey, what do you expect for 402 credits?

Erm, the Osiris is the Order *battleship* in the SP game. Either someone is using some tweaked .ini files... or maybe using a controlled substance.

no, no..i bought it in manhatten. i just found out it's not that good for pirating. especially at west point military base.

Let's not take this too fast, now, acidblue said "for a second time" so maybe its a reward of some kind. Acidblue, if you could post the name of the ship I would try to get it.

no, he's definately full of it. He said the ship's name was the Osiris, which is the Order battleship in SP. Not to mention the fact thatthere is no freighter available on manhhaton other than the Rhino. He's either hacking, got glitched, or is just plain BSing.

i just beat the game again from where you have to dock with the osiris and go into the dyson sphere blah blah blah then i checked out the ships and i didnt see it on manhattan. he's definately BS'in or glitched.

gee, that guy's cool.

I have completed the sp storyline little more than 2 times now, and have never seen this ship offered. Try to avoid getting sucked in by this one. Unless (like me)you really want to run through the storyline again. I was trying to see how many battleship kills I could score, can't seem to get past 4.

Now I will never completely rule out a bug, but then again I will never completely rule out a hack job. But me feets are getting mighty smelly trodding in this one.
