OK, any locations should be in the spoiler forum. If this counts as a spoiler sorry but the best freighter is the Dromedary and I can't remember whose it is but it is a minor faction.

"Best" freighter requires a bit of opinion. The Humpback is the best freighter from the standpoint of armed and armored protection. The Dromedary is the best in regards to cargo capacity. Neither one is rated for class 10 shields. There is not currently a freighter that can use class 10 shields. Unless DA has plans to release more ships in the future, the shields offered are useless.

Well its pretty cheesy to place partial items in the game and make people wander ammilessly around looking for ships that dont exist.

Reminds me of Evequest with broken quests.

Sorry to disappoint you, but there are no lvl 10 freighters. The highest one is lvl 7, which is the Rheinland Humpback (holds 250 cargo space). It's a lvl 7 freighter that uses lvl 10 equipment. This, however, is not the biggest freighter. The Border Worlds Dromedary freighter has a capacity of 275, and is only a lvl 5 freighter. The Dromedary is sold at the Mactan Base in Magellan, and it'll only set you back 54Gs.

But why did they "forget" it? Maybe this is for us gamers, so we may buy the expansion with the "all new lvl10 freighter"

Level 10 shields can be purchased at Crete, the Corsair homeworld. And they can also be purchased at the Outcast homeworld.
