How do YOU make money?

After beating SP, I made(and still make) my money running Cardamine from Yanagi Outpost to New Berlin and diamonds on the return trip to Yanagi. This route is 1 jump hole and 0 trade lanes. If your hostile with Red Hessians you'll get attacked coming out of the jump hole. High speed docking is the way to go. Make a run at the docking ring w/cruise engines on then hit F3 when you're a few hundred meters from it. Even if you get scanned by police you'll be docking before they can do anything. The only hassle is I'm attacked by Corsairs every time I leave the outpost. Depending on my mood I either dust them or run for the jump hole. I clear @ 90-100k and you can make the round trip in 5 minutes. Oh, to speed up the return trip, set a waypoint on the sigma-13 jump hole and take the trade lane. Press escape key when you're near the hole.

LOL!I'm playing for about 6 hours till now.I'm level 9...
trading is a good idea but missions are more fun...
which are the biggest pay-checks u get while playing SP?
is ISDN connection good enough for playing online?which are the best servers?
I'm from Croatia(Central Europe).
the game is awesome.when I first played it I thought that the map where u see Liberty,Bretonia,etc. is just decorative...but when I got to Bretonia I was amazed.games like this are the future of gaming...

Take missions that are no more than one to two levels above your current level. Also, the ones with backup are the best. Gives the bad guys other things to shoot at than just you.

Also, I always keep my finger on the B key. This tractors anything within range. The money you make from the missions plus the "loot" money will add up real quick.

I prefer the Yanagi Outpost/New Berlin run (Cardamine/Engine Parts) if I run low on cash, since I usually hang around the Red Hessian stomping grounds it isn't too much of a trek...mind you, since Republican Shipping has it in for me, that run is getting a tad old (the amount of money I have to spend on bribes is staggering!!).

I might start popping up to Malta and do a few missions instead!

We don't really own this place, just break a few arms if we have to[! - Bounty Hunter Mitch Murphy, Bonn Station.

in Edinburgh in search for gold, and when I load up my freighter, I sell gold to the Mollys.

Just kidding. I shoot trains and smuggle cardamine/artifacts...

Transport jacking is the way to go, i can make 100000 bucks in 30 mins and have a hell of a fun time doing it. The scanner is my best friend. plus if you only shoot the containers , not the transport, no rep damage!

Sitting at the Kyushu Jumphole in New Tokyo picking on GC and Dragons is always quite profitable. There is seemingly no end to incoming "traffic" and their guns sold at a base yield quite some money. Occasionally, the GC and Dragon ships will also drop some valuable cargo.

when i am in SP i loot wrecks...

in MP i go for short fast trade runs... medicine -> pitts boron -> Manhattan then back again until i have enough for a rhino or more expensive goods

then i go to rochester or beaumont base in texas and smuggle cardamine to manhattan and most often hfuel to beaumont

once i have enough for a rhino i keep on doing it then buy a rep hack for the rogues and do the manhattan -> Cortez base
