Becoming a Crosair *kinda spoiler*

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Becoming a Crosair *kinda spoiler*

Well i recently completed the single player missions and due to an unfortuante situation with my appt complex can not play on the internet yet. So i decided to become the baddest mo fo in SP i could become. The first thing i did was collect a lot of cash. I did this by getting the japanese cargo ship and did a few circles around sirius(mainly japan to us to britonia and back to japan), very proftiable. When i had about 600000 creds i went to new berlin and bought a falcon. From there i headed to omega 11. The neat thing about omega 11 is there are only red hessians and the daumann. Well i was not in very good terms with the hessians at this point so to change that i attacked the daumann, the only problem here is that once you do this you can land on the daumann base and you can land on the hessian's base for a while. And at the very begginng you will have to deal with both factions. But after you kill enough daumann's and no hessians you can finally go land on their base. From there i earned some cash killing bounty hunters. Don't stick with the hessians too long or the crosairs wont like you. I stayed here untill the corsairs were about -.4 and then jumped to omega 41. there is a freeport station here which is nice. Use the freeport station to stay healthy while you kill bounty hunters. Don't pay to get into good standing with the freeport station to get missions, it will just tick the corsairs off. So just kill bounty hunters for a while and then you can go to the corsair base in omega 41 and then pay about 100,000 creds and you are in! The great thing about the corsairs is they have the titan the biggest and badest fighter in the whole game. Currently i am lvl 29, so i need to get to 32 before i can buy it but the missions here are 75k plus so it won't be too long.

I hope this helps anyone is interested in becoming the best pirate they can be. Good Luck, i will tell you all how great the titan is when i get one. hehehe

I was already on good terms with the Corsairs without even trying, and with the Bounty Hunters no less. Was kind of cool flying through space where they were fighting each other. I just mosied on by and nobody cared.

i've had one for a little while now.. its pretty bad. in liberty space you're practically untouchable. i tested this theory by attacking the battleship missouri and had a swarm of navy fighters after me. picked em off like flies
(of course i've got 4 level 10 weapons and the best positron shield in the game

quick note however: the fastest way to get in good with the corsairs is to kill LOTS of mollys and hessians. best way to do that is to take anti-molly/anti-hessian missions (which will likely stem from the bounty hunters guild, and in turn get you into their good favor- which will come in handy while you try to find omnicron gamma or omega 41).

Which level 10 weapons do you have? I have two Nomad guns and two "Blue Hazes" or something.. one of the types you can blow out of old ships. I have the best shields too. You can literally sit idle in Liberty, having a half dozen ships point on you constantly and your shields don't twitch. It's crazy.

i actually have more than 4 lv10 weapons, i just dont sell em. can only equip 4
i've got the wild fire, blue blaze, guardian, and diamondback. then i also have 4 nomad cannons and two lv9 salmancas.. my turret sucks though.. i never use it, since it only points backwards on the titan
i wish there was a secret ship i could go after.. this game is pretty much cooked...

No doubt you've seen the eagle at the freeports in the Border Worlds, but what about the Sabre? I personally found the Sabre to be a little more maneuverable (at least it LOOKS that way when I fly it, which is good enough for me). Also, finding some of the Border scenery is really kind of fascinating, liek the Neutron Star and that uncharted system with just a giant star and thats it... it really is breathtaking (hope you can handle a few wings of nomad fighters to get there tho). Speaking of Nomad's, try finding a few (if you don't know where they are you have a few more systems to explore... ok Omicron Alpha) and taking their weapons, great damage and... get this... 0 energy requirements. Whew, they were releifs after having four level 10 weapons (who, of course, charge anywhere between 169-289 energy per shot, enough to take out your power in 10 shots, since there's four of them).
