but thats what it is i've had a similar mystery,
i gat mail from a friend whit some prices but instead of the €-sign
I saw a ?-sign so I sent him a mail and when i later saw that mail it had again instead of € a ? in front of the prices

You DO see links to other pages? That's very interesting... Where are they located and what color are they? If they are there and I can't see them then I have some detective work to do.

*edit* I just scanned the source for the Freelancer Discussion forum since there are over 30k posts. I don't even see source code to view other pages. Is it just me?

You have to actually go to a thread before you can jump to a specific page. Doing it from the active topics / all forums page would help but might add more strain to the server, which is something it doesn't need right now Could work though, Bargib can shed more light.

*edit* ok, It WAS just me... but thought I'd explain my question.

I couldn't read the tiny font for the post dates and couldn't tell the diff between 3-2-2003 and 2-3-2003 (1024x768 makes for small print even on a 19" monitor). I was seeing 30 days posts and thought I was seeing 2 days posts. I would have caught it sooner but when I tried switching to 60 or 90 days the server was so slow I hit the "Back" button on my browser.

So, I assumed if you were getting hundreds of new topics every day there would be links to see the ones that scrolled off the page

Must be time to either lower the resolution or get some glasses... :
