I wouldn't mind being lower ranked again. I kind of liked it when I was a Colonel although my favorite rank is Port Commodore. It sounds very festive.

No. PC usually means politically correct. I'd like to keep a few hundreds of miles between that moniker and myself.

Most of us wouldnt complain if they did archive the old posts wiz, its not your rank, its your quality of posts.
Besides if you can get onto the forums in the first place, there isnt much of a purpose to your rank or post count anyway.

Archiving is not necessary, except maybe for important threads. Of course, exactly what constitutes an important thread is another issue

Barbib, I know you mentioned something about loss of data integrity by deleting posts, but if there is a way I may have a idea that might free up some space. It came to me in the Freelancer General Discussion forum, go there and you guys will understand what I'm talking about the past couple days.

How much would it help if you would go through and delete the threads that have been locked? Alot of the threads themselves are nothing but endless posts of spam just sitting there taking up webspace. If all else fails it may be a short term fix until you guys get the new forums up and running.

Considering how much Esq is on TLR, its probably this modem thats slowing down the server. Hah! 56k! Pathetic, I run at 100k here and 2500k in a few more days. Of course that could be because my place is a server.
