I logged in a little after 12:00 today to check my post count and post a few things. I then logged in a little after 3:30 today to find that approximately 30 of my posts were missing from the total count. I know that I have never posted that many posts in a single topic, so it must have been a lot of topics that were deleted. Does this mean that someone is finally deleting my spam? Or is something else going on?
I've been busy, yea.

lol - no offense, but i still think the ranking system should be randomised......so that it jumps randomly from Port Commodore to Recruit, to Flight Captain, to Noob......cause that way people won't have a target to spam towards.....
Especially since the ones that are spamming their way to whatever rank would then get a decent rank eventually (could be after 100 posts or 10000 or even 101 ) and then they would shut up with random rubbish .
A kind of ranking lottery, where no-one knows what you will end up with
Man - imagine the screams from Taw and Nickless

Ah, ic. Q answered. Topic may be locked.
If one more of my posts gets deleted, I won't be a Colonel anymore
In response to below, why should it still exist? The topic has served its purpose, and there's nothing for it to do except be spammed in. If another topic must be addressed, it should be in another topic, not an old one where no one will see the discussion.

It needs locking so people like Wolfy and I don't spam. Why shouldn't it be locked? Is there some pressing reason why this topic should stay un-locked?
I must admit, i love the way some poeple think that threads should be locked as soon as they have finished what they need of them? Why? I mean, honestly....what does this need locking for?
Edit: After a little poking around, I found an example of what happens when topics aren't locked nearly as soon as they should have been: I found an Eagle, is ti a good ship?

But your own restraint should stop you needlessly spamming.
Furthermore, rather than request for your own personal feelings, please remember that it is up to a moderator to use their judgement when they deem a thread to be clickable. Just because a member wants a thread locked, it doesn't mean we grant their wishes without due cause.

Some people don't have the restraint or want to restrain from spamming. That is why I believe the moderators are here. The moderators are here to help restrain those who fall under this category. I'm also not saying that their sole reason is to stop people from spamming, I recognize that they are forumers too, and should be treated as respectfully as anyone else should be.

An example of people without restraint:

I understand this, but it seems like Sh/ft was merely telling any moderators who seem to be reading this, that the topic is of no appliccable use at the time. Posting anything else would just be misleading, as there is a conversation that is off-topic that should have its own topic.

On that note, if you'd like to further discuss this, I'd like to create a topic in a more applicable forum dedicated to this discussion, instead of discussing it in a topic where it shouldn't be. It's quite hard for people to find it here, and if it was more easily visable, I'm sure that others would like to post their opinions on this topic as well.
Edit: Grammatical corrections.

The Mods ussually do a good job of watching topics and when one is question and answered, they may lock. But if others can still learn from it or have feed back of their own, they leave it open. It's helpful sometimes. Restraint also is, if you can provide no feed back or help, avoiding posting to it just for the sake of a post. I avoid any that are over my head and I can not help with or have any questions about. There is a lot to be gained from reading them though.
