The "Last Post" Section

I was thinking that it might be a good idea to expand the "Last Post" section of the forums to include not only the date and time, but also the username of the individual who last posted. That way, people would be able to identify the individuals who responded to their posts and would not have to memorise the number of posts already made in the topic in order to determine whether or not anyone has replied since the last time they checked. I have noticed that this is a common feature of many forums, and I am curious as to why it has not been implemented here.

I like that idea. They use a similar thing in the forums on Click here, although if I'm up at 2 AM and I'm properly caffienated, I will memorize the post number. Like when I was so proud I edited a post so that I could declare that it was the 39001th post in off topic.

I find it interesting that none of the Mods have posted their agreement or disagreement to my suggestion. Strange. I would have expected at least a "That ain't gonna happen, Esq"

sort of post, however...! Oh well, perhaps I should be more patient.
