New IRC Channel for Freelancer/TheLancersReactor?

The portalive irc channel died who knows how long ago and I was wondering if TLR ever had any plans to start a new one? #freelancer is available on GamesNET which is where I spend most of my time. People actually go in there looking for a freelancer community but nobody is there. Just wondering if I should start one myself or if you guys were interested in running it.

Well theres also something about being randomly banned from the portalive server. Temp bans but I've been banned like 3 or 4 times while sitting in the channel.

Anyone that have an IRC server with a permanent channel for us, which is accessible from all over the world?

GamesNET is where my channels are located at. Its the 6th largest network in the world and is dedicated to only game-related channels. They have 23 servers 7 of which are non-us based.

cool, my dad runs a program called Myriad, mainly for karaoke file sharing, but would i be able to access the Freelancer channel from that?
