Two Ranks.

Why not have a rank based on your modding skill. This rank will be a ship, Starflier - No mods
Patroit
Defender
Startracker
Barracuda
.
.
.
Hammerhead
Titan
Eagle
Sabre
Gunboat
Cruiser
Battleship - Supermod maker

Better, Bigger mods give more points towards your ship. Crap, Thrown together mods will not get you much or nothing. And if their is more than one maker, the points are shared.
Could you do this? please?

I dunno... Calling someone a Starflier is ok, but having Hammerhead (kinda insulting, DYT), or Battleship (bodyweight of 200+ kg) next to your name... It doesn't feel right.
Seriously tho, the idea itself sounds very interesting, but the way it is now, it'll never work... Maybe if you came up with different ranks...?

How would you keep track? Some people like Chips spend a lot of time making mods, but only recently posted his first two. Some post one ship at a time, while others post a group of ships at a time.
