Careful what you wish... You might just get it.

Firstly people can spam to get to the needed post count, and who is not willing to lie about their age to get inside a forum.

That could never work. The only way you could make it happen is by putting a password on it, or by only letting people above a certain post count make threads and replies.

But what discussions are you talking about exactly? And don't forget noobs aren't the only people who come out with stupid comments. Just because they are a noob doesn't mean they can't make a useful reply to a topic.

Altho I would like to perhaps see the FLMP forum split in half, with a Clans/Recruitment Forum and then another which addresses MP problems/events/ideas and so on.

1) Poll forum? I don't understand.

2) A forum which would only allow access to specific members was considered by Bargib I think, but I don't think it's gonna' happen.

3) The site is rated, we can't have an uncensored forum. Like Trajan said, post counts can be spammed, and age verification could be no more complex than "Are you over the age of 18?" (which is easily faked) because any other system would need a credit card or such, which nobody would want to use.

I'm hardly the one to make a final decision, just giving my input
