OK pretend this is your right side menu on TLR:

Clans (this one should be added)

When you click on "Clans" you get this (now pretend this is the main page you get when u have clicked the link):

Info About How To Register Your Clan On The Servers:

Your clan need to be active and be playing on one of our servers.
It needs to have a homepage and if possible a email or someone in the clan to email to.
Now if you want to Register your clan here at The Lancers Reactor just
"Click Here" to register your clan.

Current Clans:

*Elite Server Clans (you can click on this and get a list of the clans on the server and their info and website and also se the news what is happening on the server as clan wars, cheaters etc.)

*E2 Server Clans (you can click on this and get a list of the clans on the server and their info and website and also se the news what is happening on the server as clan wars, cheaters etc.)

*TLR Gold Server Clans (you can click on this and get a list of the clans on the server and their info and website and also se the news what is happening on the server as clan wars, cheaters etc.)

Sonds like a good idea, though I don't know if it's gonna work - for all I've heard, the server is not one of the strongest. Still, I think Bargib or the mods will know better.
BTW, speaking of your sig - you didn't miss much if you didn't read the book - a waste of time.

Will you calm down? there's no need to scream. EB has no authority to execute your suggestion, and Bargib is perhaps busy with real life. Your idea was good, but imperative? hardly. It's not like armageddons is coming without its implementation.

I do not believe a Freelancer Clan section is something we should have on here for two reasons...

1. Clans would be server specific (by design).
2. Clan members come and go like the wind.

1 good point for this would be:

1. One place for clan memebers to check in with each other (although, in my experience, this invites some language that is not acceptable on this website)

I think this site is becoming enough of a mess to read with the numbers of forums we have already. As long as it's a link to another website I don't see this idea adding to the clutter. But another forum just for clans is just going to end up being a section that just gets in the way of the other 2731723598715 forums in place today.

Don't get me wrong, clans are fun and they provide a vital player base for games. With the talent that is out there, can't we just link user created clan web site and call it a day?

I agree with Stinger.

What about setting up something for clans to post an IRC chat rooms, so they can get together, if no one can/will create clan sites...

hehe sorry that i have been so inpaintoned...
i have been sick all day and the only thing i could do is to sit and watch if i get any replys hehe..

well Stinger this is want i ment:

a site where links to all the clans are... and if the clans want to be seen they register their clans here and so on... the pages of the actuall clans will be made by themselves, not by you.

just a simple site with the links to clans web sites and on what server they play on like this:
