Enhance the Community!

You know, I have nothing but respect for LR , it a great site , based around a great game , with great people.

But in one aspect it fails , ... The Forum! Its like something that was made 5 years ago! Why not start using a more COMMUNITY based one , I dont know like phpBB? With Private Messages , and whos online stats etc? I have been using and modding phpBB for about 1.5 years now , and I would never use any other forum.

I like it the way it is. You always mail anyone instead of PMing. And the who's online stuff can be found at the bottom of the main page.

Oh , ok I guess its down to taste , just I have always found phpbb to give great performance, I run a community based board with 260 members on it and its alot of fun with customised profiles etc , ah well.

There is a difference when you've got 20.000 people comming EACH DAY!!!

THe server is only a lowly P3-450 with 320 MB of RAM!

woah... I cant belive the server could survive for such a long time.. how many times has it been downed or for some housecleaning mission or crashes anyways...

What is the HDD Capacity anyway?

Honostly, I think it keeps it self nicely - it does not crash, and only goes quite slowly at time when people overuse the search facilities...
