RubberEagle:
How many people do you have working on this mod and do you want any extra help? Ship models is not my thing but perhaps a separate section of workers could develope a totally separate aspect of the game and if it fits with your ideas (bab5 theme) then it could be included with your project.

It might even be possible for me (and others) to develope a completely separate mod (stand alone) which is designed to compliment your bab5 mod (working on aspects unaddressed by your mod). etc etc what do u think?

kumari: yeah, we could use help. I was going to post something next week..
what we'd need most after 2d-artists would be .ini scripters for the starsystems etc. who knows, if we get enough, it might even be possible to release the freeform universe before we finish the sp campaign (takes mostly place in known B5 systems, only one or two would be needed extra).
We're currently basically 2 or 3 people (several members left the team during the last years because of the (missing) mission editor, can't blame them though...)
but more on this after i had an opportunity to talk with Virus/Jaatu, my "second in command"

Stats of the t-bolt: well, speed or so i can't really talk about (no game balancing yet) but it currently has a class 10 gun hardpoint on the nose, 2 class 7 hardpoints on the wings and a torpedo launcher, if i'm not too mistaken..
Though that's not the final loadout. It'll be probably changed to a class 7 hardpoint on the nose and (if it's possible) 4 missile-only hardpoints on the wings..

i could help u with creating new system
i only have little expierence (only created one system yet)
but i would realy like to help u

creating new systems sounds like a fab idea. I think the game as it stands needs some kind of fast transport thing. I reckon that would have to be included. You pay $1000 to go from Manhatten to New London/ New Tokyo/ New Berlin.
And the world as it stands could be the human sector alone Do u feel like making... 144 new systems? 48 for the Narn, 48 for the Centauri, 48 for the Minbari. Once ur done with that "small" task we can move onto Vorlon space Just kidding (wouldn't it be sweet tho). Of course RubberEagle has the plan to follow.
So Eagle do you have a current plan/list of ideas to include. If u wanna email them to me that'd be sweet. [email protected]
I'm a programmer doing 3rd year Undergraduate university. This semester i'm doing purely comp-sci courses and i've recently taking an interest in gba programming. I've never modded a game before but i'm pretty keen. What's this about ini files?

most of the stats of the universe (solar systems, comodities, ships, equipment) are stored in .ini files... they use the standard .ini conventions...

Well RE.. i'm in if you want me. you know i can make systems!
unfortunately. beyond ini editing. i don't think i'd be help anywhere else.
you got my e-mail.. drop me a line if you need anything specific

i've been looking through ini files. Looks like some sweet stuff. My first mod would be to double the dmg on all missiles (easy to do and probably a good idea). Either that or change some costs. How do you implement a mod anyway? I guess you don't actually overright the ini files that already exist... so what?

Anyway i'm keen. I'm also keen on creating systems.
talk soon.

well, you actually overwrite the existing files

RubberEagle,
Anything you want done with ini file editing?
i'm not in a position to fully commit myself but if u had anything in mind at all at least i can waste my time playing around with that instead of something completely useless. I'm capable of editing ini files.
