how ol'' r u guys...
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I'm 26 from Australia and your never to old to play games.
An old geezer playing chess in the park is not that far detached from a whiper snapper playing an RTS on a LAN. The only real difference between the two is the medium they are played on.
I don't really run this place but I have an understanding with the people who do.

Er, I'm a bit over 30 (sth like 3 months). I think if a guy (or a chick) loves playing games, it's fine, no matter the age (a bit of self-defense here). My kid is a bit too young to really play games (he's 2.5 now), but he LOVES to do the shooting (especially in SL). You can kiss the mission goodbye, of course, but, IMO, it's an investment into the future - at least I'll have someone to understand me, since my wife doesn't
P.S. nice to see such a great variety in ages here. Actually, I expected Wiz to be older (no offence, in fact, you may consider it to be a compliment)
There is no greater fear than running out of beer!

I'm 27, never grew out of playing comp. games and uni life just made it worse!!!! If not drinking, partying, occasionally working, it was networked C&C, Quake, Doom etc. The cool part was some of the lads were taking ESE (I was doing a Biological degree at the time, Comp. Sc. came later) so I got to play Quake in the virtual lab. Nothing like Quake with a headset and gloves etc. Serious fun all in the name of research
@zlo on't worry about the wife not understanding, I believe that some people don't have the game gene My other half only plays games like Myst etc. she doesn't get the whole SL type genre either.

Well, your wife is at least playing SOME games ! My wife really doesn´t understand why I play games from time to time. Sometimes she´s standing right behind me saying stuff like "that really sucks !" and "where´s the fun in that !"
Very annoying you know, but she let´s me be and is fine with it, so I´m fine with it too.

Yeah mine sometimes says the same things, I just reply either a) you've no soul!! or b) when women get mad, they shop........men invade another country.....this just happens to take less time
This is promptly followed by a lot of face pulling
Anyway, she can't really mind as she buys me the games I really want. If all else fails......bribery
