CS does indeed rock but its the haven for the llama now, just like certain ace bands become whank when certain bandwaggon-jumpers do what they do there are a dying breed of good servers but if you find a pearler of a game alot of fun can be had.

i'm venturing out though, natural selection is my weapon of choice at the moment so if your new to halflife mods, check out this revolutionary multiplayer game

I like Elite Force and Klingon Honour Guard though

honor guard? do people still play that? i played the demo where you plod around outside a klingon starbase and it took about 36 hours so i decided NOT to play anymore

CS is deffinatly great.. I have a 1 MgB connection and I still play (When I find the time)... I play on a local college server with my fellow students..

Sometimes I find that I've played half the night, and hardly even realized it...

I absolutely HATE CS. at every freaking lan party in this city where I live ppl play CS. Why? cuze most of them can't run anything else cuze their freaking systems are to shyte to run anything else.

At most it would be about 3-4 ppl playing ut2k3 and nobody playing strat games.

Thats why I don't go any more. All the other ppl can do is watch how we play ut2k3 and I have to listen to them "Look at those gfx" from behind which irritates the crap out of me.

Atleast my buddies and I are interersted in the same games so we lan alot.

personally i never saw how CS was better than any other FPS online, they are all the same to me, you have to be awsome to play or you just get fraged every 5 seconds

cs is better than other fps'.....its faster, more realistic-thats if u like realism instead of lazers and photon fps =). if u played dod (day of defeat) u find that its so slow compared to cs. cs is in a class of its own.

I havnt played cs in ages... I never could play online cause my connections to slow but on the plus side i got a lan and about 6 computers in my house
