There used to be a fan site/group called the Aces that was basically all Wing Commander. They had ship databases, crew info, history, and short stories.

The site's been long since gone, but I remember reading one story in particular. It involved Col Blair when he was taken by the aliens from prophecy. Basically, he's on a Firekan *sp station that is attacked by Confed, so he takes off in a Centurion. Returns a few years later with an uber Centurion, kills a couple of Confed's super carriers including Captian Eisen's. It ends when he's assinated by I believe Casey.

Anyways, the Aces group was annoying but they had a lot of good fan fiction that was worth reading.
