Zeratural''s Brother K here - Bringing you something rather

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Zeratural''s Brother K here - Bringing you something rather

Okay, firstly, yes big brother is fine and getting well.
He shall be discharged Saturday morning.

And yes, he's threatening liberal castrations untill the wouldbe assasin is caught

Oh and he says play nice

Okay now here it is:

We all know movies ( depending on the quality saved in ) are very large things.

Now add music too them, increases the size.

So I ask you , can I insert 16 minutes of audio, scroller text AND some really pretty 3d scenes with independant camera, and make it 65 Kb?

You'd probably tell me I've been smoking Zera's pot.

Well okay, I have, but I kid ye not!

What noone is interested in my cameo post?

That is frankly not cool.

I'd check out your file brother of zer, but im in the process of rebuilding my baby and all my sexy protection software isn't installed yet. So Im not downloading squat at the moment. Tell Zer that since he's been gone I've convinced everyone that capatalism is great.

Hey brother of Z, I just checked out the file. That's actually incredibly impressive. I haven't the faintest clue how you managed to get that all in there, unless it's like, secretly downloading as it runs, though I figure this isn't the case.

I didn't d/l it when you first posted this cause I didn't really know what it was supposed to be, so for anyone else who felt the same way, it's kind of like an artistic 3-D graphics demo, sorta like the 3-D demos in 3DMark, but more surreal/abstract. It honestly is just really damn amazing that it's all done with 65K.

Whoa. Impressive. Made me dizzy. And eppileptic. Nice work. It was so cool, like when it was spinning around and... oh wait that was all the time...

And all my happiness was flushed down the infernal toilet and sent straight to the sewers of hell...

That is actually some quite good coding with Direct X. All the objects and effects you see there are rendered in realtime on your screen using Direct3D.

It was done by some majors in computing at a university I believe. The files actually have in them some code which simply calls in 3D effects and objects, no textures, no music, no nothing. The rest is all in Direct X itself.
