Earth & Beyond

Hi all !

I was wondering if any of you plays Earth and Beyond ? Is it cool ? What's different ? Is it laggy?

I am currently download the 1.2 GB DEMO off Gamespot so I can try it...

On another hand, there should be a MMORPG in space where you can control a cap ship and dispatch freighters controlled by players. Captains could be chosen by their rank, number of kills, money, profile etc... (so you dont have 7yrs old controlling a ship).

I saw something like this not too long ago...

It was only a project but it sounded nice

Was a beta tester....

Gameplay is nonexistent. If you're looking specifically for a MMO, I'd check out EVE Online over E&B.

I played the 100 hours trial. It's 5 days and not 100 hours. Well, I started to hate the travelling at some point. For one mssion I had to fly from point A to B. From B back to A (dock the ship). Then back to B. Hey, I had to go back to A (dock).
But overll, I liked it.

Do you have anymore info on EVE Online ? Is it similar to Starlancer ? How much does it costs? Etc... maybe you have a good website.

I'm really looking for a good MMORPG to hang on to until Star Wars Galaxies comes out !

There is something I dont like about Eve, im not sure exactly what it is, but its like its missing some FUNDAMENTAL part yes no?
