Sorry to bring back an EXTREMELY old thread, but I was having fun reading through some of the ancients.
Mustang:
I have heard of folk getting it to run in 95/98 but it'll be a cold day in hell before in runs in XP.
This was funny considering it had a great quote by Mustang about Privateer working on XP and it being timely, now that Eraser has provided us with a link to two programs that'll let us do it, it is now a cold day in hell. And I must live in hell because it's frigid here!
Has anyone tried Eraser's linked programs with Privateer yet? I'd very much like to know if it can handle the JEMM that Privateer uses. (I'm making this current again! -- wink, wink
)
EDIT: I found another one by Mustang in another Privateer thread.
You won't get it to work in XP, no matter how hard you try. DOS/95/98/Me are the only OS's in which it'll run.

BTW, you moderators had started so many threads a long time ago, are you just not as interested in starting them anymore? Or are we responders just not as interesting?
