What game would you buy?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

What game would you buy?

Hi, it about 2 weeks when Freelancer hits the stores. But which game to buy because Master of Orion 3 comes out next and 7 days later Freelancer out. So I trying to decide which one should I buy, both, buy freelancer first and buy Master of Orion 3 later or do the opposite, what do you think guys? Why I asking is, both games look great, I know I get into one story and I wont touch the other game till I done. What game would you buy??

I am going to assume most people at a Freelancer forum will say Freelancer.

I looked at the Master of Orion previews and it looks like a very deep impressive game.. but requires too much thinking for me.

I know alot of thinking for MOO3. But overall I might buy Freelancer first.

You think that's bad? Not only do I want Moo3 and Freelancer...but I also want IL-2 Forgotten Battles, Splinter Cell, Harbringer, and Sea Dogs II...and I only have 7 gigs of game space left...ughh.

I say get wait on both, and if MoO3 has bad reviews, then get Freelancer...if Freelancer gets bad reviews, get MoO3...if both get bad reviews, get something else...if both get great reviews, then your screwed my friend

Nope......its all about abstinence. No games for me until Freelancer.

Oh please hurry up March.

Will play MOO3, NVWN-Ex and Splinter eventually, but FL's the biggie.

You secretly wouldn't have a little moneytree growing on your back there would you TPM ? Heh he

Anyways, first Freelancer (above all other things) and then later probably M003 as well

I'm actually thinking about going outside this year, which I hear has more color depth than my PC. May actually see this "sun" thing everybody is talking about as well.

I may just stick with FL and the new Rainbow Six (if it's anything like Ghost Recon, that is). FL is probably the only game other than Ghost Recon that I'll end up paying full price for as I usually wait 6 months or so till they go on sale...$50 a game is rather steep.

Highly recommend Snowboarding if anyone has any snow near them.

Color Depth is sometimes limited, colors seems a little "whited-out" sometimes.

But certainly good fun for an afternoon a week

Well....Freelancer of course. I have checked out MOO3 in the previews and such. I just do not have a good feeling about it. The very first MOO was a great game and I enjoyed many hours playing it. But MOO3 looks like a Excel spreadsheet in space! And the part about the conbat being done all in real time and you not being able to control your fleet...dumb. I am in no hurry to get it and may never.

What's all the talk about MoO3??? I've played the prequals and also ST: Birth of the federation, and I realy can't see what MoO3 can offer of new gameplay..
Of course graphics will be improved, but still...

I've just invested my precious money in C&C - Generals, and it's subleme...
It will do just fine filling the gab untill FL release...

Well MO3 is not a bad program but if you want to play someting more fast pace and get more wrap up into a program! Well FL would be the easy choice between the two! MO3 is basically a stargey game and it not very fast pace and is more of a slow pace type program! FL by far is better choice!
