Nasty!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Heh, I've seen this. You'd think it would have been scared away by the saw.

Whoa, my friend IMed this to me a couple hours ago.

Frickin' insane.

But if you watch closely, it had it's back to the saw. So the Poor Bastard never knew what hit him

I think the crab didn't survive this...

It got Sucked into a Bloody Pipe. It would have had to be a Super-Crab to Survive that.

There is something profoundly disturbing about that video. Sweet

Actually just showed it to a friend of mine who used to be in the army, and he said that something similar happens to tank soldier when a tank gets hit by an armor piercing shell. The shell goes through the tank, and the concussion creates a pressure differential in the tank chamber and the poor soldiers end up getting sucked out the tank through a 8 inch hole. Nasty. Wonder if that happens in Mechwarrior too.

Kivuli, I don't see how that could happen...there can't be that much difference in pressure. Now on a plane I could see that but a tank? I could be wrong, just doesn't seem like that would happen...

Merc for hire...but only if you can afford it.

That happened pretty deep, the pressure there is around 3700 pounds (per square inch?) and the pressure inside the pipe was much much lower.

MS- Iwas thinking about this as well. As I said, it's just something that my friend told me about. I think a lot of this has to do with the concussive force of the shell hitting the tank causing a pressure wave which results in the aforementioned result. Its the only way that I can see it actually creating enough pressure differential to cause the effect.

If this is the case, then the poor tank soldier is not being SUCKED out, but actually BLOWN out. Though for all intents and purposes, the same result of mangled human being pushed through small hole is acheived.
