What are you playing?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I have been playing Medal of Honor. I won the full version in a contest on the Alienware website. Great game but no blood or guts is a bit ridiculous. Just 'finished' Morrowind and the expansion pack Tribunal. Great game.

I came. I saw. I conquered. And sometimes get conquered.

You guys should keep an eye on ebay. As I understand it there is occassionally a copy of Kilrathi Saga that goes on sale.

Edit: Just Checked ebay:
3 auctions going on for Kilrathi saga. 1 for $105 , another for $91 and the last is for $51. So I guess if you are willing to part with the cash you can get the game.

My God man, you can't tell me that you've never seen the movie tron It was Disney's first foray into using cgi in a movie. Came out way back in the early 80's, old but damn good in my opinion. They are making a new computer game of it that uses a modification of the Lithtech engine used in AvP 2 and No One Lives Forever 1 and 2. Anywho it's an excellent, if not dated movie that I suggest you watch sometime. Anyone who is a sci-fi buff that I have talked to who has seen it has only had positive things to say about it.

LOL! YAH! It's from Tron! Not Dexter's Lab. Dexter's Lab copied Tron.

Tron2 will stink, btw.

Yup, $100 is just way too steep. Especially to get what's basically patched versions of games I've all owned before. Seriously, they should make copies of the Kilrathi Saga available for free.

uhhhh, pretty much anything half life, ricochet, Day of Defeat, counterstrike, Team Fortress classic, and some Natural Selection ( i just can't into NS for some reason maybe its cause i suck at it), plus some Alien Versus Predator Gold Edition

Mouse? What mouse? There's no such thing as fine motor control in MY deathmatch!

Post Thu Feb 13, 2003 8:31 am

Oh yes, Tron. I actually saw that for the first time last year (bought the collector's DVD for $20). It's a neat film, and incredibly visionary for its time.

However, it's also a very cheesy film. Rather than a plausible neural hook-up as in The Matrix, in Tron, people get shot at with some laser, disappearing from the real world and inserted into the virtual one. Totally bogus. But in all honesty that kind of stuff was pretty prevalent in 80's sci-fi movies.

And EB, how do you know Tron 2.0 will suck?

Post Thu Feb 13, 2003 4:32 pm

Ok Im sorry if I offended anyone with my ignorance
I have heard about Tron and Tron 2.0, but thats all.
Ill put the movie on my To-rent-list.
