It can't be used for camoflauge, it's more like an optical trick than true cloaking I think.

Yep, from what i understand, tach is right. It's not really all that useful. Neat, but not useful. That picture had to be taken from a specially modified camera...

Who knows how much further this thing can be improved. And besides, they dont need complete camoflouge, maybe even just a bit transparent can help greatly.... ala Predator.

it doesn't matter how much it's improved, if it is dependant on a special camera it will only be useful for the weatherman so that he won't block the reports anymore.

Lol, i saw this on the news the other day, pretty cool it's just a camera behind the guy with the rain jacket and that image is projected onto the rain jacket so that person appears to be invisible
