The epic battle... Heintz vs. Beauvais!!!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

The epic battle... Heintz vs. Beauvais!!!

It's now.. A must be decided.. Which is the better tomatoketchup????

I have for many years been a die-hard believer and dedicated fan of Heintz.. But resently I have changed side... Beauvais stands firmly in my fridge...

One of my reasons is, that when you open the bottle.. Nasty tomatowater doesn't run out... Nobody likes that.. Beauvais IS THE BEST!!!!

PS: I would like an actual poll on the subject, but doubt Bargib, Tach or some of the others will alow it...

It's Heinz, you infidel! Without T! And whatever preposterous allegation you threw at Heinz about that "nasty tomato water" is completely unfounded. To be fair, they don't really sell Beauvais here where I live, so I won't bash it yet. And you know what? Heinz INVENTED this outstanding package design that everybody uses (the squeeze plastic bottle that you store upside-down). It's one of the best inventions in the century! I don't see Beauvais contributing anything to the world.

LOL! this is an awesome thread.

Despite having never heard of or tasted Beauvais, I'm casting my biased and unbalanced opinion in favor of Heinz.

I've never seen the brand you're talking about. If they don't sell it in America then it must not be worth buying. A better question would be what is the best barbecue sauce. My favorite is KC Masterpiece. KC stands for Kansas City, and people from Kansas City know what BBQ should taste like.

Gimmie Heinz, a ketchup with the same name as a panzer general CAN'T be bad, now can it?

Never even heard of Beauvais. Still for Heinz.
I like "Kraft" BBQ sauce. Practicly IIRC, it's the only one they sell here .
How comes you live in Israel and you like ketchup with a german name?

I dunno, I just use the local safeway brand. Much cheaper than the brand-names, and I don't really like ketchup all that much.

(But I'm not the one who buys groceries, (being still in highschool), so neh.)

Why make your own mistakes when someone else has already made them for you?

ROTFLMAO!! That has got to make quote of the week..damn funny Ug.

Im still a heinz man, but I prefer someone else to cop the slimy tomato water, so I never crack a fresh bottle. Though I have developed a taste for a local brand made by a company of German settlers.

Ok boys and girls, I hail from Pittsburgh, PA and as a result I have no choice but to put in a vote for Heinz because my city is where their grand empire started and where it continues to thrive every day. As far as BBQ sauces I like A1 sweet n' tangy.

If there was ever an example of a really off-topic..this is it.

Isn't A1 classifyed as 'steak sauce'? Are you refrerring to Heinz Guderian, Spear? Heinz is his first name, Heinz is the ketchup family's last name. In fact the woman who has inherited the Heinz fortune is married to John Kerry, the senator from Massachusetts who's running for president. He's using the ketchup money to help get his party's nomination.

Heinz this.. Beauvais that! Doesn't anyone knows Calvé? Or do they only sell that in the Netherlands?

OOOOOOOH!!! I love this off topic thread! I'm going to go with Heinz all the way. They make fantastic ketchup. As for BBQ sauce, I'm going with KC Masterpiece and yes, they have great bbq in Kansas City. However, unlike Ketchup, there are many kinds of BBQ sauces and flavors with varying factors. Some are tangy, some are hot, etc., it depends on the meat you'r using the sauce on as to which is best. My dad makes his own special BBQ concoction and on chicken, it is the greatest thing ever!!!
