I thought CMI was pretty good, and worth playing over from time to time. I still have issues with the uber-cartoony take on Monkey Island, though. Sure, the first two had very cartoonish elements, but they could also really spook you out. In CMI there was hardly anything spooky, and LeChuck was a harmless cartoon villian, rather than a slightly wonky but genuinely terrifying presence. I still scream out loud when I play Monkey Island 2, when you're trying to make a LeChuck voodoo doll and LeChuck barges in while you're looking for ingredients. Never got that from CMI.

But the pirate song...unforgettable.

Just thought I'd join in the listing fun! Here goes my list in the order I think of them:

1. Syndicate (and it's sequel)
2. Pretty much all Blizzard games (I'll count this as one, just for simplicity's sake)
3. Civilization (1 that is)
4. GTA: Vice City
5. Wing Commander Series (Including both Privateers and the spin-off Armada, although excluding Prophecy...it just wasn't the same)
6. Mechwarrior 1 and 2 (3 and 4 just changed the franchise a little too much for my tastes)
7. Ultima 4-7 and 9 (the ending of a saga that spanned nearly 20 years...man was that a sad day for me and nearly all Origin fans)
8. Phantasy Star 2 and 3 (hehe, the main reason for me getting a GBA)
9. All the Bioware games involving D&D (BG 1/2, IWD 1/2, and the console BG: DA).
10. The first 2 Gabriel Knight games

As you can see, over half of my list is comprised of games that are (or are nearly) 10 years old or even older. Here's an idea: why don't game companies go back and remake a few of their older games (without changing the content mind you, just a little face-lift and add MP if the game warrants it). Anyways, just an idea. Cheers.

I don't know about B-17, I never played it. But in B-17 II there was a helluva lot of flak. If you got through B-17 II without getting hit by flak, you were either perfoming some kind of miracle or you were bombing england.
