Yeah it does i guess, it goes down really well with music elitists that are on a never ending mission to find the most "underground" band in existence. Those are the sort of people that ruin music altogether. I agree about the social networking thing, this is the only profile ive had on a social networking site but thats because i love music and got sick of people asking me what my favorite bands are. You can hijack this thread if you want it was starting to get interesting
hm? what police state... its not like robot cameras are watching intersections here, or police can demand your library record or net traffic history or email at will, or some innocent person is being assaulted by police each day, or secret prisons for US citizens exist, or torture outsourcing, or a muzzling of the media by tight control of field sources, a world record number of citizens in privatized prisons serving as convict labor, again, in our golden 21st century.... nope nothing out of the ordinary to see here =(
quit myspace when it was bought out since the benefits(spam and real and virtual friends that are too lazy to call you) didn't outweigh the cost to my conscience in supporting anything owned or run by rupert murdoch
i wouldn't help the NAB by giving them my honest opinion even if it would save a hundred dolphins - those damn crooks have been buttering the FCC's toast for far too long, and as a result of that influence radio in the US is mostly a barren wasteland devoid of any significance (it's just 20-minute commute filler for people without mp3/cd stereos now, imo). i'm upfront about what i don't like like pop, country, rap, 'diva' virtuoso singing to lame compositions on piano, 'alternative', or anything with a one word genre name really but i am tolerant- i don't ask people to turn their music off when i'm in their car, at their party, etc and that's all i ask back from them
