yes i did - and it was loong overdue... i was tired of seeing Pico 2 characters all over the site, several years after the promised delivery date and no pico 2, in fact it was announced some time before the redesign that they had cancelled pico 2.
not to say its not a good site, it is (i used to lurk a lot and posted a video once, nvm what it was which was unfinished... gr - i never did accumulate many points, i think i made a level 8 or something ridiculously underpowered like that...representing about a years worth of votes.) however its biggest weaknesses are the cliques and the ratings system combined make for a disfunctional and stupid portal selection process (like, why are several videos from 2007 in the all time tops list? bitey of brackenwood and littlefoot are both down 10, 20 spots! ridiculous! what ever happened to favoring frame by frame animation on that site?) don't even get me started on how the fulps neglected the site, and its users, to make barrels of cash with Synj on *shudder* consoles.
what finally pushed me to stop visiting regularly was when the moderators allowed 'shades of grey' a VIDEO short series to be posted. highly inappropriate, no matter whether some users liked it or not, it has nothing to do with animation or games ergo it didn't belong and was a slap in the face to animators who submit good material everyday. also, its hard to find anything worth watching with all the crap that deluges the portal, thanks to the NG staffs effort's to stop the Blammers from using Blam points (ugh, another reason i quit. positive votes have an effect, negatives have no effect, and not only that they could negatively affect your exp points! am i supposed to vote +3-5 for every video that doesn't suck, in order to make it count? blah! stupid rules, stupid moderators, and a stupid site. In short, I really like the idea of an open flash portal site but the implementation is amateur as hell. )
