eh...astral projection?
You mean the proverbial "out of body experience" ?
No, that actually hadn't crossed my mind. I do remember reading about that
about 30 or so years ago. I think they had an idea...but sort of missed the mark
in part due to it's limitation of physical travel.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is the concept:
I could close my eyes and visualize an "open doorway" ....
on the other side of this open doorway, I can see my destination...
and in a "leap of faith" (as it's often refered to)
take that step through the door ...
and be at my intended destination when I opened my eyes.
I could turn around and see the open doorway
from where I just came from.
Too simple, eh?
This would in effect transcend the limitations of the physical universe.
I suppose that would be called "Transcendence" or transcendental travel.
Not to be confused with Transcendental Meditation.
Forgive my Spiritual spill on this...
For those of you who believe in a Higher Power, God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit...
Just suppose that Jesus (Yeshua) was the one who proved it could be done by
setting the example. We are proclaimed as his bretheren,
this makes us kindred to the divine. Since we are bretheren,
this also means that we can tap into the "Source" .
So, he proved it could be done and also told us that we could also do it.
(It's written down in black and white Or red and white)
It got me thinking...
If I could walk on water too, what else would I do?
In short, my imagination was staggered with the possibilities!
Shoot...why bother with fortune? I can create my own worlds..
out there anywhere in the universe and travel there.
Then, when I see that all is good... Next.
People are limited in what they can do only by themselves.
So for now, it is best at our present stage of development that
we cannot yet tap into that resource until we learn wisdom.
It would be too easy to simply "will" the entire human race out of existence.
So, we are held back by design for this purpose...to learn.
One thing is certain, events were happening that were
significant enough to record them around 1900 years ago...
and further back.
Ezekial for instance? A mysterious departure at best attributed to UFO's...
but, I think he had "That" connection and probably choose a
fashionable & showy departure.
Consider mythology..perhaps there is some basis of truth in them
to have been significant enough to record them in stone.
Sorry Tawakalna, I don't mean to preach.
