Harrier in dire straights...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Hi guys .. Chris here Dave's son
First off i'd like to say thank-you guys for all your well wishes ... i have printed the forum pages out to give to dad today.. the gaming community has been like a second family for him.

We have spoken to the specialist last nite ... and he has informed us that it is a very agressive form of cancer. They believe that it started in his bile duct and moved to his liver and then lungs.

They have stopped all his kemo as the cancer has progessed too much thru his body. They will now just make him comfortable till he passes. (he loves his morf )

I have spoken to him this morning 26/02/2007 and he is getting bad ..very hard to talk to him now ..and he's slowly forgetting things ..but he still looks at us and knows us ..so thats still great. I think we only have a couple of days left then he'll laps into a coma

Sorry for being so direct ..but there is no point in sugar coating it.

For now thats all i can tell you but will keep you guys up-to-date on everything thats happening

Kindest Regards
Chris (Harrier's Son)

Im sorry for you Chris. Loosing someone to cancer is really a pain as it is such an invisible disease.

All the best to you and harrier of course.

Chris, My prayers and thoughts go out to you, your dad and the rest of your family. I know how tough this can be as I have a few family members who are currently going through cancer.

I have never met your dad, but have seen some of his work and know he is a well liked member of the TLR community.

Thanks for the updates and enjoy what time you have left with him.

Thanks for the update Chris, I was hoping for better news though *sigh*. Once again, please give him my best.

Wow. I'm sorry. There's really nothing i can say. I'd like to add my condolences, I never really knew the guy but it makes me sad just the same. I hope he gets better.

my freind had brain cancer... he survived. then came hurricane katrina... he survived that too. hes amazing, the cancer stunted his growth or somthing, i see him very rarely but i feel like a basketball player next to him. his speech and manual dexterity are impaired. Hes still the same to me though. he likes it because he got a neat widescreen laptop. still, it's things like these that make you feel like people might not deserve to be happy if people can just die. but i am sure harrier would have hated for me to say that. could we add his memory to our signature?

Goodbye harrier. We'll miss you, wherever you're going.
