Post your NEW desk top image

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Taw - Quiet you! I moved to FAT32 years ago, and I use NTFS on one partition just to keep you happy. Why the hell I need NTFS on a 20GB partition escapes me. *Shakes head* Crazy Mullah. As for your desktop, it is pretty average, and you have too many icons. You need 4 at most, plus 1 or 2 for the current game(s) that is/are being played. Hmph!

They also have Rocket Dock on that site...I think I'm going to try out Object Dock to see if it's any better.

Everyone has such artistic or dramatic stuff. Mine, as always, is suitably shallow... just like the owner. I keep the desktop clean enough, simply because i don't like obstructions to the view.

Only essential programs allowed.

A bit like mine? Seriously, why do people bother with desktop shortcuts? It's perhaps an extra 5-10 seconds to go through the start menu and everything looks neat and clean anyway.

Ooh, she's pretty Chips.

Sorry don't have time to resize it.

that is indeed a very pretty desktop, Chips, although I'm referring to the colours and composition. Very calming, quite reflective. And at least she's got clothes on.

Foolish Hare! I use folders for my shortcuts to apps and games, and I bet my directory tree hierarchy is tidier than yours - just like my desktops, computer and actual.

Thanks

Due to having many images, i've found an application that changes your desktop background every day. Just hope it doesn't BSOD me, it's a little MS application (free).

I've now got rid of all shortcuts except recycle bin, now using the quick launch bar - shortcuts just didn't work with different images.

I noticed Chips has the typical British style, of driving on the wrong side of the road, ie all icons on the right.

Post Tue Jan 02, 2007 4:59 pm

I have no idea what you're talking about, Final. It's you Yanks that drive on the wrong side of the road.

Post Tue Jan 02, 2007 6:05 pm

Hmm...I think I'm going to give that a try...not the driving but putting my icons on the right and see how that goes.

i find that driving on the wrong side allows me to near-misses accidents, as i can see the oncoming traffic. Of course i'm on a bike
