Eh, tipical. This happens occasionally because with the lack of a sequel or expansion pack to Freelancer, people are beginning to move on. I usually come back two or three times a day, but I really don't post that much anymore. I've seen a week go by before someone responded to the Fan Fiction forum. It's just the modern TLR for ya, unfortunatly.



Seeing as how a person who will remain nameless (The Evil Thing) ruined my sig by answering a rhetorical question, I'll just use this as the line and see how long it lasts.

It's quiet, true. I think there are several reasons why it's so quiet though - because the sites traffic recorded peaks during march (the site entered the top 15,000 visited sites on the internet at that time, now it's back down to around 70,000) and still gets plenty of people visiting (and new people).

I'd imagine the sheer volume/daunting appearance of all those forums doesn't help in one respect, and also the "stifling" nature in which discussions get accused of being political as soon as anything mentioning any country or other thing occurs (they had an advert in the UK about not talking politics to counter people's apathy towards voting... pointing out that nearly any topic is actually political in some respect).

Of course, I'm in the middle of exams, and I guess many others are too - which is certain to put some dampners on convo.

You're right, but then... there aren't any new topics because just about everything worthwhile has been said.

Tell you what, if nothing interesting happens within the next two days, I'll start a really silly, pointless thread just to see what does happen. (Mods, humour me)

I wouldn't worry about it TET, as long as it's not either p0rn or really offensive to people, then I doubt I'd do anything anyways... and if it's spam, well - who's the spam going to annoy? There's no-one here!

Exams are the reason I've been absent as of late, although I generally don't post that much regardless. The board generally does get quiet around this time though, as Chips said, us kids have exams on and need to study away.

I'm still hanging around, I'll check the site whenever I have free time, unfortunately, I keep getting dragged away to do trivial this like studying...

i'm off out for the day, im going to be taking photos of tigers, etc i'll start a thread at somepoint.
