I have a strong interest in my Celtic and more general Irish history so the name fitted in that respect when I had to think of one which suited when I logged on here first (TLR was my virgin forum) however it is also the player name I used when I first played Elite. I don't recall having such an interest in history back then, it just sounded kind of cool so it is ironic that it suits me so well now.

Hm- no apparent reason- when i first came on, it was all tounge in cheek and the fact that I ended up dead more often than not in the MP games- now, I think I'm stuck with it. Well, that and the fact that my given name always brings up spectres of "sesame street"...
