@ Shroud If you look at the estimates of Einstein's IQ it is between 160-200 so I think you pulled your 220 number out of your ass. In addition true IQ tests are rarely given at such young age because they can have detrimental effects on the "childs" self image and learning. So how did you take this IQ test?

Well, online tests are fairly easy to get a massive score on, since you can look up all the answers while you're taking them...

Well then he cant go bragging an IQ can he?

People shouldn't get so worked up about IQ scores - claimed, proven or otherwise. What's the point in having a pop?

If you think about it, having an IQ of over 150 would put you in advance classes or even skippping school levels because you would be bored where you currently were. There is a woman that answeres public questiions in a local paper in Atlanta, Marilyn vos Savant with a truly high IQ and her own question site - www.marilynvossavant.com

I don't think that even the *proper* IQ tests are really very accurate; I generally get about 135-137 on those and there ain't no way I have an IQ as high as 137. I think the questions are weighted to make everyone seem cleverer than they are so you get a bit of self-gratification and join MENSA.

Some are close though. On 2 differnt test I scored 129 on one and 130 on the other. But people also don't take into account the differnce in IQ and common sense. It has been said of some very smart people, they know how to learn, but never learned to come in out of the rain.

Neither do they take into account that the standard IQ test (not just spacial awareness) is aimed directly at the White American Male aged 25-40. There is a great deal of documented research into this bias if you look for it - most standard psychology handbooks approach it too. I encourage you all to read into it.

A lot of question sin IQ tests are also stuff you can learn, ie knowledge and not intelligence, since I started uni, I score about 10 -20% higher on IQ test, because I have done work which has stuff like questions in IQ tests...oh well...
who cares in anyway

I dunno sw, alot tend to be patterns of varying types. People can improve at problem solving and spotting patterns through learning etc. Am sure you can improve IQ scores.

Funniest one I ever took was one that literally guaged how intelligent you were by how quickly you got bored (obviously had nothing to do with intelligence) - but those with egos did hundreds and hundreds of questions. Sadly i was told to expect 80 questions, and when I hit 90 i noticed one was repeated. I shut the window at that point! It then emails you your "score". Our nextdoor neighbour did particularly badly, he was the one who was full of himself, and literally did 400 questions before getting fed up with it
