Maybe its time...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Maybe its time...

...to get the advertising of the Dungeon Siege section of the site underway. There seems to be less and less people posting here than ever and i can see the tumbleweed rolling. I understand a lot of work being involved but i just feel fresh blood is needed very badly.

Very Very badly...

We just need new people with new ideas, I know that means more n00bs who don't know the drill, but you have to admit it comes with the territory. The Lancers Reactor used to be a prominent place on my bookmarks list, but now its taken a back burner role (coming after Slashdot, Bash.org, all three email accounts, NVidia's downloads section, and even Gamespy) probably because I've seen all of these discussions before.

Role-players aren't all creeps... though a few are...

*sets fire to rolling tumbleweed*
Meh - more entertaining that way

I would comment, but I won't.

Oh wait... a paradoxical statement!

*throws grenade at tumbleweed* so much for that
i'll see about throwing some recomendations around the net, i have some contacts that talk more than a motor-mouth at a mime convention but i'll see what i can do

it's partly that time of year too. you know the kids outa school going to the camp, or in the case for all the stubble jumpers, headin to the farm. Summer is not always the best time for recruiting, every body going somewhere to do something with someone.

Indeed, these things do happen, but when is a good time to recruit?

When i say i think fresh blood is needed, as FL is all but dead in terms of new people buying the game and no bright future being in store for the series, the site needs to look at another means for attracting people. We are currently sitting on DS and DS2. Now i am by no means a web designer and i know things are being implemented, but the longer you wait, the less chance there is people picking TLR to come too as there are no doubt many fansites for the series.

i'd say summer is.

Halo, maybe? its a microsoft sci-fi game... Although it isnt a flying sim, but neither is Dungeon Siege...

Post Thu Jun 23, 2005 12:03 am

hmm, although dungeon siege doesn't seem to attract much of a crowd, i'm not sure the majority of the people here would like the general crowd halo brings. if you want to see what a halo crow is like, you can go to www.halomods.com, or www.haloplanet.com...their forums are not a pretty site to see i'll tell you that.

I'll agree strongly there with you wolfy.

Thats why i believe AOE3 is a good one to have here.

Post Mon Jun 27, 2005 3:35 pm

Why dont they jsut make it a big MS game hub?

Post Mon Jun 27, 2005 4:33 pm

We could set up RTS forums. Empire Earth, Warcraft, Starcraft, etc. Those would attract huge crowds.
