Not many know that Warren Spector was really the man behind Privateer.

Just think, a cross\genre Privateer and x3. Drool!!!

However, I do think that there should be a "story" to give some focus to the game though, it should no be "forced" upon the player.

An all encompassing war against an alien race that one must consider during play .

Missions that seem "ordinary" at first that "evolve" into more complicated and potentially more awarding adventures into the unkown.

The possibility to own lands, business ventures, etc. and, to be involved with activities that mirror "real-life" - with the attendent "surprises" and misfortunes inherent..................
