Anyone knows or plays Darwinia ?

In the forums of a German Computer-related news-service I found information about a online game called Darwinia . Does anybody here know the game ? Does anybody play it ? Do the Brits here have some experience

The game was once mentionned here on TLR in a post by Kendo exactly one year ago - but without any info ( link ). The game is written by the same people who did "Uplink".

yeah ive seen a review of it in pc gamer, looks interesting, but i dont think its my cup of tea.

tis a tad boring, but like uplink, its very... unique for the RTS genre. I only got the demo.

I remember playing it, it was sort of fun but not really worth 25 notes. I'll probably buy it when it goes in the bargain bin.

I did like the Space Invaders bombing run, very clever idea.

Uplink was awesome. btw to whoever asked for link the game is called "Uplink: Hacker elite" so jsut google for it.
