MSN Viruses...This is a new one...

First off hello to everyone I havent been around much lately

Heres the situation...

Talking to a friend on MSN, nothing odd was happening everything was ok, but out of nowhere I got these messages from her:

Obviously I added the nospam bit...Anyway, that is my email in that link, and the message came up I believe 3 times in the 5-10 talk we had on MSN. I know she didn't send them and it would appear to be a virus. I searched symantec and google and found nothing on the link or potential virus. I clicked on the link (probably stupidly) and got a download box asking me if I wanted to save a file, obviously I chose not to. I asked her to run an AV scan while she is out and I'll ask her if there were any results later...Can anyone help on this? More ammo for Esquilax I suppose...

Aren't you using MSN 7.0 as well? What did I say about that

thats been happening a while now. just dont click on the damned things. i mean, you got issues if you go clicking on those.

yeah, i also set it to not play automatically. and i also disabled nudges, i hate those things.

pah messenger plus is full of spyware

its a Toolbar and only if you install the spyware. Jsut run adaware afterwards if you ar e that concerned

i hate messenger as it wont sign in 4 me so i have to go to a 3rd party site 4 microsofts stupid product to work
