Where are they now???!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I still pop in from time to time. I never really posted much so it's not surprising if none of you remember me anyway

Someone wondered where I was? I'm flattered.

I'm still kicking around, checking in every so often.

Just spotted this thread, so i decided to make a quick post.

Most of you probably won't remember me, but i was part of TLR back in the early days. I later stepped away due to real-life commitments, and eventually found my way back into Wing Commander modding (back to the origins i guess), where i have a project going. I still visit TLR from time to time, mostly to try to keep up with latest developments.

During my time here at TLR, I did my share of StarLancer and FreeLancer editing, working Fuzzball, Rubber Eagle, Mad Dog, and others. Although i think FreeLancer is a great game, i think i was able to enjoy StarLancer a bit more. When i think about the TLR i always tend to remember those SL editing days.

Ah this thread sure brings back memories *Sniff*

Thunderin' Jaysus..

looks like a revival, somehow I have only heard of HCl by song and tale.. but a lot of the folk in this thread bring back memories...

Ran into FD on MSN around my birthday, and said id check in ever so often, so well... here I am
Ive been a little bit busy on the other side so to speak, after the whole mess in late 2004 (don't want to get reminded, lets just start over) I kinda lurked a bit but after discovering a site of my own kind (sea/waterscouts) at waterscouting.com I kinda got active there as a replacement for this site and forum, which ive since till now called home for some 3 and a half years. I've been a moderator here for a short period of time, and fancied meself doing rather well at that.

I totally disappeared here at around the turning of 2006 I think?? dunno for sure really, a lot has been on me mind since, Ive had a new computer made to specification, so I could play the newest games again, a machine that has caused me no end of grief (problem finally solved, was a disfunctional hd) I've been away on numerous camping trips, having rarely spent a weekend at home for the 1st 6-7 months of 2006, I've been to Nawaka, a scout camp which is basically a small village, with some 7,000 inhabitants, all living in Tents for some 10-12 days, I've lost my job in May, so am kinda relaxing now, before moving on to the next job, spending some extended holiday at home so to speak, since I have rarely had any holidays for the last 5 years, let alone any vacations. so thats basically the run-down now. Im thinking of returning here, the atmosphere is returning bit by bit with all these old folks returning.

so basically, I'll see you around
