Mercenaries - PS2 & XBOX
this game is very good its an open ended/wargame game set in north korea here is my mini review:
Graphics & Models 4/5
Graphics are good with nice explosions and water but on the loading screen some of the pics show the models a bit "low res" but that might not have been from the final game, nice fog around to cover up the draw distance(dosent bother you)
Gameplay 4/5
Alot of stuff to do: disguise as other factions when you steal their jeeps, tanks, etc, call in massive airstrikes, go from town to town fighting battles, can pick up soldiers in your vehicle to help you fight, can blow up almost everything, change your clothes to new unlocked ones. you can do alot of stuff
Sounds & Music 5/5
sound effects are nice and sound good for a console game, music goes well with the feel of the game, vehicle sounds are good and change when going over grass, road, etc, ambiences are nice with background gunfire and stuff, and no north korean town could go without the guy on the propaganda speaker!
Missions 4/5
missions are not boring and keep you playing the game, theres a wide range of mission types aswell
Other Stuff
you have to hunt down a deck of 52 officers like what they have in iraq, your operator has an australian accent
, the guy called "nillson" you play has says alot of smart ass comments and keeps they same tone of voice all the time (not good).
