The old Days.

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

The old Days.

Not another Old days TLR thread. Old Handhelds! I want you to post what old Handheld you loved and why. Nothing newer than Gameboy Color. Ill list 3 to start you off with

Virtual Boy
Gameboy Original
Gameboy Color

Anything else you can think of!
My personal favorite?

Nothing beats this. Sega is arguably my favorite game console maker/game maker of all time. The Genesis for a console and a Game Gear for a handheld, thats all I needed back then......I loved how big the screen was. Its > = the size of the GameBoy Advance's It had a great speaker in it. And it had the Sonic Series. I recently just dug out my old one and I'm bringing it to school everyday now. Post what you love/loved I want to see some replies .

The Old game boy, in black and white. Played a lot of the Final Fantasy games on it. Hated that the batterys never lasted.

Well gamegears had some bad battery time too. I heard it was infamous as a battery eater.

I remember the atari lynx - but anything after that was during my 'abstention' from computers etc. Never owned one, just remember playing on my mates atari lynx is all

@FD- I assume you mean the Gameboy Pocket, as the original only had different shades of green.

And the GBP, for me. Oh, sweet sweet Tetris Attack.

No the original one. It always looked like shades of gray to me. You could buy the magnifier, light, and extra battery pack for it. $99 was the starting price. Regular nitendoe and Genisis was the only new consoles at the time

Ah, the memories. Never had a gamegear. Was Alex Kidd released on Gamegear or was it the Master System, or both?

Game Gear? A battery eater? Well, it was the first COLOR!!!! handheld, so I would assume that..It kicked gameboys arse at the time, cause of its shape, and colorness, and better speaker!!!

EDIT : Laptops can count I guess, If they aren't new and didnt have anything that was more than a 70 mb game

And for the Genesis? You had to love it..The shape of the controllers..Hell,the simplicity of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Sonic used what?...5 buttons?? Up, down, left, right, and the other 6 buttons did jump..The variety of games.. and the name! Nothing beats the Genesis Start up!!

for all the Sonic games itd be like SEEEEGGGAA And Sonic would run from one side of the screen to the other...It's awesome.

Does anyone know where i can get old gamegear games? i've looked all over. I played powere rangers, mortal combat, SONIC, umm, lets see, power rangers the movie, the lion king, smoe others, we moved recently and i had to pack it up. too bad it didn't become a series, gameboy just recently gained anything over it. Without the Advance or SP, that awesome tv-like, BACK-LIT screen, ah, the memories. Power rangers was the best, but i only met lik three people in my life that actually owned one. Every time i go to illinois to see my cousins, everyone, and i mean all 20 (related and not) fight over who gets to play, and i have to make them take turns. by the time i want to play the batteries are dead.
